Why in Spain every fourth patient of medical clinics is a foreigner?

The Spanish government is not engaged in active development of health tourism. Nevertheless, the quality of Spain's healthcare system, the availability of hospitals and reasonable prices attract an increasing number of foreign patients from the British Isles, as well as from the Middle East and North Africa.

Due to the problem of rising medicine prices and long queues in the UK and Ireland, residents of these countries go abroad for treatment, and Spain is one of the most popular options among them.

According to a rating published by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Spanish health system ranked seventh in the world. At the same time, the Spaniards are in second place in terms of satisfaction with the quality of medical services. In Spain, there are more than 750 hospitals, which employ 450,000 doctors and nurses. All hospitals in Spain are certified by the Ministry of Health of Spain and are under its supervision.

Doctors in Spain receive a diploma and qualification not less than 6-7 years of training. To obtain a specialization (for example, a surgeon), several more years of study and practice are needed, and only after that are issued the appropriate certificates and licenses.

In Spain, there are several medical institutions (private and public) have special offices for foreign patients. To their services are English-speaking doctors and medical personnel who have received quality education and who have completed practice in institutions recognized by the European Union and the General Medical Council of Great Britain. Thanks to its high performance, Spanish hospitals are on par with the rest of Western Europe.

Marbella has become a preferred destination for health tourism. Marbella climate, easy access by land, sea and air, as well as luxury services, make the city ideal for health tourism.

A large number of private medical centers available in Marbella offer exclusive services for patients in the field of beauty, quality of life, and health improvement, including oncology, traumatology or assisted reproductive technologies.

Company Inmolux is ready to help you find a property for sale or rent and will make your stay in Spain comfortable.

El Caminito del Rey. Do not miss the opportunity to walk the Royal Trail!

El Caminito del Rey, or the Royal Trail (Spanish version El Caminito del Rey), Is located in the Spanish province of Malaga. For many years it was considered the most dangerous hiking trail in the world: a suspension road, three kilometers long, winds along the El Chorro gorge at an altitude of 100 meters. Its width is only one meter.

After the death of five people in 2001, the trail was closed. The authorities decided to seriously engage in reconstruction. Work to build another, safer trail began in 2014. Now it is open to visitors and is no longer so dangerous.

Interesting that the Caminito del Rey was created as an auxiliary route for workers who built a dam. The path was named `Royal` after it was visited in 1921 by King of Spain Alfonso XIII.

The company Inmolux is happy to help you see this and other interesting places of the Costa del Sol, Spain.
